Playa de la Escalera is an impressive beach break on the west coast that is known for its powerful, fast waves. The wide, open beach offers several peaks that produce both left and right-hand waves.
The powerful conditions require good timing and safe technique, which is why the spot is ideal for experienced surfers.

- Getting There
By car
- Playa de la Escalera is located on the north-west coast, approx. 6 km south of El Cotillo and can be reached via the FV-10.
- The last section leads along a gravel road, although the direct access can be a little bumpy. A steep descent leads directly to the spot.
- Car parking is available above the beach.
