Rock monument on the Atlantic
The Roque del Moro is an imposing rock that rises dramatically out of the Atlantic Ocean. This remote monument can be reached from Cofete via an approximately one-hour hike along the Playa de Cofete and offers visitors an impressive view of the sea and the spectacular mountain landscape.

- There is an alternative route that branches off before Cofete and leads close to this impressive viewpoint - ideal for those who do not want to combine a visit with a walk along the beach from Cofete.

- However, you should plan your return journey in good time, as the unlit gravel road can be challenging in the dark.
- Getting There
By car
- The Roque del Moro is located on the south-west coast, south of the village of Cofete, which can be reached via a gravel track from Morro Jable.
- The journey takes approx. 45 minutes. A vehicle with higher ground clearance is recommended. An alternative route is via a gravel track that branches off before Cofete.
- Car parking is available at the starting points.
