Playa de la Solapa is located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, south of Ajuy and close to the picturesque village of Pájara. This secluded beach is known for its tranquil and unspoilt setting and offers a unique backdrop for relaxing days by the sea.

The dark sandy beach is surrounded by spectacular rock formations and cliffs, and at low tide small caves become accessible, which are wonderful to explore and add a special charm to a visit to the beach.

Due to its unique and wild landscape, Playa de la Solapa has not only captivated visitors but also filmmakers: it served as the backdrop for the well-known Marvel film "The Eternals" in 2019.

The combination of dark sand and spectacular rock formations provided the ideal backdrop to underline the epic and mystical atmosphere of the film, giving Playa de la Solapa a very special flair.
