Playa de la Solapa is located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, south of Ajuy and close to the picturesque village of Pájara. This secluded beach is known for its tranquil and unspoilt setting and offers a unique backdrop for relaxing days by the sea.
The dark sandy beach is surrounded by spectacular rock formations and cliffs, and at low tide small caves become accessible, which are wonderful to explore and add a special charm to a visit to the beach.

- At low tide, fascinating caves appear, which extend into the interior of the rock faces and allow for exciting explorations.
- However, the changing tides must be taken into account, as these areas can be completely flooded at high tide.

By car
- Playa de la Solapa is located on the west coast, south of Ajuy. Access is via the FV-605, from where an approx. 4 km long and partly bumpy gravel road branches off.
- A vehicle with greater ground clearance is recommended due to the gravel road.
- Car parking is available near the beach.
