An ideal beach for those seeking peace and quiet
Playa de Butihondo is located in the south of Fuerteventura, between Costa Calma and Morro Jable. This picturesque stretch of beach stretches over a wide area and is known for its tranquil surroundings and gentle surf, making it an ideal place for a relaxing day by the sea.
The beach is surrounded by impressive nature and scattered hotel complexes and offers beautiful views of the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The mostly gentle waves and the sheltered location create a relaxing bathing experience.
In the northern part of the beach, there are also a few corralitos, small stone circles, which make for a pleasant stay even on windy days.

- Playa de Butihondo is located on the south-east coast, about 5 kilometres north of Morro Jable. It is accessed from the FV-2 via a tarmac road that leads directly to the beach.
