The Barranco de Esquinzo is a picturesque gorge on the north-west coast of Fuerteventura. The Barranco is characterised by a wild and unspoilt landscape dominated by volcanic rock formations and sparse vegetation.
The hike through the gorge finally leads to a spectacular and secluded natural beach, the Playa de Esquinzo, which particularly attracts surfers and nature lovers.

By car
- The Barranco de Esquinzo is located on the north-west coast and can be reached via the FV-221 from El Cotillo.
- The last sections lead over a partly bumpy gravel road - a vehicle with greater ground clearance is therefore an advantage.
- Car parking is available near the Barranco.
