Crystal clear natural pool

Just a few minutes north of Caleta de Fuste, directly on the east coast, there is a small natural pool that fills with seawater at low tide. Embedded in dark lava rock and surrounded by bizarre rock formations, the place invites you to take a quick dip - far away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby beaches.

The natural pool has no official name, but is often referred to unofficially and colloquially as "crab rock" - presumably inspired by the small sea creatures that can be seen there, especially at low tide.

Due to its proximity to the holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste, the spot is easily accessible on foot or by car and is ideal for a brief moment in nature in between - perfect for photos, a refreshing swim or a break with a sea view.
