Playa de los Pozos, also known as "Playa Chica", is the central city beach of Puerto del Rosario, the capital of Fuerteventura. This easily accessible beach offers a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city and is ideal for a quick swim or relaxing hours in the sun.

The stretch of beach consists of fine, golden sand and clear, turquoise-coloured water that gently slopes down to the shore. Thanks to the surrounding buildings, the nearby harbour and a stone wall that surrounds the beach, Playa de los Pozos is usually well protected from the wind and surf.

The stone wall, which was created as an artificial barrier, ensures calm water conditions, which makes bathing and swimming here particularly pleasant. In addition, a staircase leads directly from the wall into the sea, offering an alternative and convenient entry point.

Playa de los Pozos is particularly popular with locals, who use the beach for swimming, sporting activities such as beach volleyball or relaxing by the sea.
