Two hidden beaches in the south
Playa de los Ojos is a secluded beach on the south coast of Fuerteventura, ideal for those who want to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature away from the tourist beaches.
The golden sand and the surrounding cliffs, which rise imposingly above the beach, create an impressive backdrop that invites you to relax and switch off.
Access is via a wooden staircase that leads down to the beach. At low tide, a small, hidden cave becomes accessible here, which offers an additional incentive to visit the beach.
Playa de Soledad, a secluded and smaller beach that is also known for its remoteness and striking rock formations, is located one stretch of beach further west of Playa de los Ojos.
Both beaches offer a unique and unspoilt natural experience in one of the most unspoilt regions of Fuerteventura.

- A visit to Playa de los Ojos is particularly worthwhile at low tide, when the beach appears more spacious and the cave located there becomes accessible.
- In the immediate vicinity of the beaches is an old airstrip from the time of Gustav Winter - a relic of Jandía's history that blends seamlessly into the rugged coastal landscape.

By car
- The beaches are located on the south coast of the island and the approach from Morro Jable is via a long, relatively well-maintained gravel road.
- The journey takes about 40 minutes and due to the gravel road, a vehicle with greater ground clearance is recommended.
