Playa de la Concha on the small neighbouring island of Lobos is a truly idyllic place that promises peace and relaxation in the middle of the Isla de Lobos Nature Park. This picturesque bay, around 15 minutes by ferry from Corralejo, is characterised by its fine, white sand and crystal-clear, turquoise-coloured water.

Nestled in the unspoilt nature of the island and protected by volcanic rocks, the beach offers a unique setting that is perfect for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.

The gently sloping shores and calm waters make Playa de la Concha ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The impressive surroundings, characterised by volcanic landscapes and unique flora, are also ideal for walks or hikes on the island.

A highlight is the archaeological excavation site on the edge of the bay, which indicates a Roman settlement from over 2000 years ago. The remains of a Roman workshop for extracting purple dye from sea snails were discovered here.
