Beach paradise for families and sports enthusiasts
Costa Calma is a popular holiday resort on the south-east coast of Fuerteventura, known for its extensive sandy beaches and calm, shallow waters that are ideal for families and water sports enthusiasts.
The village forms the northern beginning of the famous Playa de Sotavento, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the island, which stretches for several kilometres and is particularly popular with kitesurfers and windsurfers from all over the world.
Costa Calma offers a variety of hotels, restaurants and shops and therefore a wide range of leisure activities. Despite its touristic character, the townscape is characterised by numerous palm trees and well-tended green areas that invite you to take a stroll.
The area surrounding Costa Calma is also ideal for excursions and activities. We particularly recommend a visit to the neighbouring town of La Pared, where the spectacular beach of Playa de la Pared is a popular destination, especially at sunset.
