The Barranco de la Torre is an impressive gorge on Fuerteventura, characterised by striking lava rock faces and varied vegetation. This region is particularly green and is ideal for exploring the surroundings and enjoying the fascinating landscape.

The watercourse of the Barranco de la Torre only carries water during heavy rainfall. After such rainfall, the surrounding area is transformed, revealing an impressive, vibrant landscape that emphasises the natural beauty of the region.

The Barranco flows into the Atlantic at a small stone beach. There is also a small chapel on the edge of the beach, which is dedicated to the patron saint of fishermen, the Virgen del Carmen, and offers a peaceful retreat in this interesting environment.
