Popular coastal promenade
Avenida Marítima is a popular coastal promenade in Puerto del Rosario that stretches from the capital's harbour to Playa Blanca to the south.
A few cafés and restaurants with views of the Atlantic invite you to linger along the route, while numerous sculptures emphasise the artistic side of the city.
These works are by both local and international artists and can be discovered not only on the promenade, but also in many other parts of Puerto del Rosario.
Directly adjacent to the Avenida is the city beach Playa de los Pozos - a place where the maritime flair of the island's capital can be experienced in a particularly harmonious way.
