El pueblo impresiona por su costa salvaje y una playa que cambia de aspecto seg\u00fan la estaci\u00f3n: Mientras que en verano predomina la arena fina, en invierno la playa aparece como una playa de piedras. Este tramo de playa es especialmente visible con la marea baja, dejando al descubierto las formaciones rocosas de los alrededores. En el centro del pueblo hay una peque\u00f1a capilla, que contribuye al ambiente tranquilo con su sencillo encanto.<\/p><p>Una caracter\u00edstica especial son los numerosos patos que han convertido el aparcamiento en su hogar y saludan amistosamente a los visitantes, algo muy poco habitual en la isla.<\/p><p>Un popular destino de excursi\u00f3n es el Barranco de Los Molinos, ideal para practicar senderismo por su flora y fauna \u00fanicas. El barranco lleva agua todo el a\u00f1o y se cierra de febrero a junio para proteger los lugares de anidamiento. Al final del barranco, por encima del aparcamiento, se descubre una capa de arena f\u00f3sil de unos impresionantes 135.000 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad que ofrece una visi\u00f3n de la historia geol\u00f3gica de la isla.<\/p><p>Otro punto destacado es la cueva de Los Molinos, a la que s\u00f3lo se puede acceder una vez al a\u00f1o, en septiembre, durante un periodo especial de mareas. Durante esta marea extremadamente baja, el agua retrocede tanto que queda al descubierto un sendero de arena que conduce a la cueva.
